Job description

1-800-PACK-RAT was founded in 2002 with a focus on making moving and storage simple. With portable storage containers, customers have the flexibility to choose on-site storage, warehouse storage, local moving, long-distance moving or any combination. Our team of experts is available to help customers from start to finish with the goal of exceeding every customer's expectations.

The Commercial Sales Account Manager will be responsible for growing our expanding portfolio of clients as well as working with our current network of existing contacts. You will be responsible for driving the commercial sales within the company by developing and maintaining positive relationships with commercial customers by managing the acquisition and delivery of products, providing ongoing customer service, and maintaining expert knowledge of products and availability.

  • This is a hybrid role working 3 days in office and 2 days remotely in home office

  • Work closely with the VP of Call Center and the Business Development Supervisor to achieve annual / quarterly sales budgets, gross margin, and key account growth targets
  • Work with management to develop personal sales goals and a business plan to achieve them with a primary focus on the targeted market channel specialties
  • Make contacts and cultivate relationships with various industry decision makers within each business segment
  • Take proactive action to drive increased sales performance in order to achieve sales objectives
  • Meet with management monthly to evaluate market channel data growth and call results in based on your weekly reporting
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully maintaining and developing commercial sales.
  • Develop new accounts through face to face and telephone contact with potential customers
  • Act as the primary contact for commercial customers; Actively maintain open lines of communication between the company and commercial customers
  • Ensure efficient delivery of products by planning delivery routes and managing drivers
  • Ensures appropriate delivery documentation is generated for each delivery
  • Maintain records and billing for commercial accounts
  • Visit commercial accounts and ensures accounts are serviced and deliveries are made as promised
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the business needs, including holidays, evenings, and weekend shifts

  • Required education and experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Additional college and / or management experience is a preferred
  • Call center, customer service, or supervisory experience may be required
