Daily Census : 8 Acute / 4-6 Swing Physician Shifts : 7 am - 7 pm (single) APP Shifts : 7 pm - 7 am (single) Specialty Coverages : Cardiology General Surgery PRN Pulmonology Nephrology Procedures Required : Intubation Central lines for emergencies Compensation : Salary : To be discussed with the client Additional Information : This permanent Hospitalist position near CANVAS, WV, offers a 7 on 7 off schedule, providing an ideal work-life balance for healthcare professionals. The facility utilizes Meditech EMR for efficient and comprehensive patient care. While the facility does not have an ICU, the preference is for providers with a minimum skill set for intubation and central line placement in emergency situations. The daily census includes a mix of acute and swing patients, providing a diverse clinical experience for the healthcare team. Physicians work 12-hour shifts from 7 am to 7 pm, allowing for extended patient care and collaboration with the dedicated clinical staff. Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) cover the night shifts from 7 pm to 7 am, ensuring continuous and attentive care for patients.
