A Day in the Life

As a Transportation Quality Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will join an ambitious team at the forefront of innovation in transportation, storage, and distribution of Clinical Trial Material. You will be a crucial part of our Total Transportation Management (TTM) and Third Party Depot (3PD) services, ensuring flawless and world-class logistics operations.

• Aid TTM and 3PD operations by conducting remote supplier evaluations and monitoring supplier performance.
• Collaborate with the Global Supplier Quality team to coordinate quality management of vendors
• Act as the primary quality contact for reviewing and approving investigation reports.
• Act as Subject Matter Authority for quality matters related to Logistics and transportation.
• Update Approved Supplier lists and related documentation.
• Ensure operation under GxP principles and wider Pharma Services Group policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures.
• Provide data and documentation to support meetings, management reviews, self-inspections, and audits.
• Work collaboratively and coordinate training for TTM and 3PD quality procedures.
• Advance issues like delays in supplier audits and quality investigations.
• Take charge of overseeing TTM and 3PD document management coordination.
