What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) :
Evaluate and handle all underwriting aspects of formal and informal life insurance applicationsDetermine risk acceptance, modification, or declination based on medical history, occupational hazards, and financial backgroundDeliver competitive offers to drive sales and facilitate business placementCommunicate underwriting decisions effectively to customers and third-party firmsCollaborate with stakeholders to gather necessary information for risk selection and decision-makingWhat is Required (Qualifications) :
High school diploma or GED3+ years of life insurance underwriting experienceEstablished life insurance underwriting authority limit of $3 millionExpert knowledge of risk selection and underwriting conceptsProficient in underwriting administrative systems, product rules, and guidelinesHow to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) :
