Unit : ICU - # beds : 20 - Certs : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS - Ratios : 1 to 1 or 1 to 2 - EMR : Cerner - Charge Nurse : Nurse Shift Manager or Charge Nurse Each Shift, try to have resource nurse .

Yes - Call : If staff reduced, would be put on call - Shifts : 7a, 7p - Floating : ER, Tele or med surg -will be floated to sister facility - Mercy SW. - Floor specific orientation : Minimum 2 shifts plus one for Cerner - Common diagnosis / Types of patients : Neuro, radical cancer surgeries, DaVinci, abdominal cases, urology cases, CVA, TPA, not a specific cardiac facility, so true cardiac needing intervention gets sent to memorial, small amount vascular surgery, respiratory failure, sepsis typically no peds, rotaprone, glycemic control, oncology patients - Additional Notes : Nurses will work both campuses but rare they would float mid shift; night shift minimum 2 yrs. experience for both campuses
