Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking aStructural Graduate Engineer to join our team in our Richmond, VA office. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design of building systems, structural elements and connections under the supervision of a professional engineer by performing engineering calculations / analyse
• Design structures of a variety of materials including steel, concrete, wood and masonry.
• Analyze existing structures for new uses and design repairs / reinforcement where required for existing conditions.
• Coordinate with other disciplines including architectural, mechanical and civil regarding the projects design.
• Provide construction administration assistance in responses to
• Perform site visits, inpsections and review of shop drawings
• Prepare detailed design calculations and construction drawings
