Salary Range : $30.00 To $62.00 Hourly

We are excited to announce that we are looking for Full-Time, Histotechnologist / Histotechnician at our NY Pathology Lab in Pearl River, NY

Shift : Monday-Friday, 1 : 00pm-9 : 00pm

About the Role :

As a Histotechnologist / Histotechnician at NY Pathology Lab, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and analysis of tissue samples for diagnostic purposes. Your expertise will ensure that high-quality histological slides are produced, which are essential for accurate disease diagnosis and treatment planning. You will be responsible for overseeing the histology laboratory processes, including embedding, sectioning, and staining of tissue specimens. Additionally, you will mentor and train junior staff, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes continuous learning and improvement. Ultimately, your contributions will directly impact patient care and the overall effectiveness of the healthcare services provided by our lab.

Minimum Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• NY State License as a clinical laboratory histotechnician, clinical laboratory technologist, or pathology assistant.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical histology laboratory

Preferred skills, such as familiarity with digital pathology, will enhance your ability to analyze and present findings effectively, further supporting the diagnostic process.
