Network Technician - Microsoft Entra ID Need South Carolina Residents Only - Contract - Columbia, SC (Onsite)
Required :
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field
5+ years of experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and general Microsoft administration
5+ years of experience managing and supporting Windows Server environments
10+ years of strong troubleshooting experience in networking (wired and wireless)
5+ years of experience responding to help desk requests via a ticketing system
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills
Preferred Skills :
Experience with Deskpro or similar ticketing systems
Hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy
Knowledge of Ruckus / Brocade network switches and general network infrastructure
Specific Skills :
Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) configuration and management
Windows Server installation, patching, and performance tuning
Network troubleshooting (LAN / WAN, Wi-Fi, VLAN, DHCP, DNS)
User account management, permissions, and access controls
System and network monitoring, incident response, and escalation handling
Documentation of technical processes, network diagrams, and system configurations
Collaboration with IT teams to implement infrastructure upgrades and security best practices
Familiarity with ITSM tools, help desk operations, and customer support workflows
