Position Summary :
The Vice President, Healthcare Software Sales is a senior executive responsible for driving revenue growth and market leadership within the healthcare vertical. This role oversees the go-to-market strategy, cultivates executive-level relationships across healthcare organizations, and leads a high-performing sales team to deliver innovative SaaS solutions to providers, payers, and life sciences companies.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the healthcare market, including hospitals, health systems, payers, and life sciences.
- Identify emerging trends and opportunities in digital health, EHR integration, population health, and value-based care.
- Drive pipeline development and revenue forecasting with precision and accountability.
Team Leadership
Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing healthcare sales team.Establish clear KPIs and performance metrics aligned with healthcare sales cycles.Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.Market Engagement
Build and maintain relationships with C-suite executives, clinical leaders, and IT decision-makers in healthcare organizations.Represent the company at healthcare industry events, conferences, and client engagements.Stay current on healthcare regulations, reimbursement models, and interoperability standards.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to align sales efforts with healthcare-specific needs.Provide market feedback to inform product development and positioning.Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to navigate healthcare contracting and regulatory requirements.Qualifications :
10+ years of experience in software sales, with at least 5 years in healthcare technology or digital health.Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in complex healthcare environments.Deep understanding of healthcare workflows, regulatory landscape (HIPAA, HITECH), and buying cycles.Strong leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field (MBA or MHA preferred).Preferred Attributes :
Proven success selling SaaS solutions to healthcare providers, payers, or life sciences companies.Familiarity with EHR platforms (e.g., Epic, Cerner), healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR), and analytics tools.Demonstrated ability to navigate long sales cycles and influence complex stakeholder groups.Passion for transforming healthcare outcomes through technology-driven innovation.What Sets Us Apart :
