Job descriptionPrior experience operating printing equipment (DTF, DTG, screen printing, or similar) preferred, but not required—training provided. Strong technological skills, including ability to work with design and production software. Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting equipment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail and commitment to quality control. Strong time management and organizational skills. Full-time position, Monday-Friday, 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm On-site role at Watertown, WI facility. Requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 40lbs, and working around production machinery. Machine Operator - EZ Promotion & Apparel
Position Overview
EZ Promotion & Apparel is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Machine Operator to join our production team. This role will focus on operating and maintaining our Direct-to-Film (DTF) printer, ensuring high-quality output for custom apparel and promotional products. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with technology, attentive to detail, and able to troubleshoot minor technical issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain DTF printing equipment to ensure accurate, consistent, and high-quality prints.
- Prepare artwork files and ensure proper setup of print jobs using relevant software.
- Perform daily machine calibrations, cleanings, and routine maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical or print quality issues in a timely manner.
- Manage print queues and maintain efficient workflow to meet production deadlines.
- Inspect finished prints for color accuracy, alignment, and overall quality.
- Maintain inventory of supplies (film, powder, inks, etc.) and notify management when restocking is needed.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet customer requirements and ensure on-time delivery.
- Follow company safety standards and best practices while handling equipment.
