About The Position

Job Title : Pharmacist Inpatient

Profession : Pharmacy

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience : Minimum years of experience required.

License : RPh and state license required.

Certifications : BLS, BCPS, Chemo, Pharm D preferred.

Must-Have :

• Active license required.
• References are required from previous employers.
• Candidates must be comfortable floating within the facility.
• Previous charge experience is beneficial.

Description :

This position requires working nights on a 7 on / 7 off schedule.

Holidays are required.

Registered Pharmacist licensure is mandatory.

BLS certification is also necessary.

Experience in inpatient or acute care settings is preferred.

Knowledge of pharmacokinetics, therapeutic monitoring, and sterile technique is essential.

Candidates must have a strong background in various therapeutic areas, including infectious diseases and cardiovascular care.

Experience with charting systems in a community hospital setting is preferred.

Travelers may float to different areas within the facility as needed.

Compliance with all necessary certifications and trainings is expected prior to starting.

Candidates must have been away from the system for at least 6 months before returning.

This role may require adapting to various patient age groups, including pediatrics and geriatrics.

Interdisciplinary support will be available within the team.

Candidates must adhere to all required protocols and policies during their employment.

Healthcare environment experience is strongly recommended.
