Diesel Technician- Commercial Buses. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Technician to join our team, specializing in the repair and maintenance of commercial buses. The Diesel Technician will be responsible for performing comprehensive repairs and preventative maintenance, ensuring all work is done efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards. Additionally, the technician will provide support to customers both in person and through remote or virtual consultations, advising on necessary repairs or maintenance, ensuring equipment operates according to manufacturer specifications, and maintaining detailed service documentation to support both in-shop and virtual interactions. Candidates must have a modern smartphone with an active internet connection to efficiently manage orders and assignments through the company app. Proficiency in navigating mobile applications, digital platforms, and app-based workflows is essential for seamless task execution and communication.

Compensation ranges from $52,000 to $93,600 per year, based on experience and availability.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in commercial buses, ensuring all systems are functioning properly.
• Perform engine rebuilds, routine maintenance, and inspections to ensure optimal performance of buses.
• Work with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, as well as complete brake repairs and other system-related issues.
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to ensure buses are ready for safe and reliable operation.
• Test bus performance and identify areas needing repair or replacement.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines while performing repairs.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation of work performed.
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
