Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Tax Manager to join our finance team. This position will be responsible for overseeing tax compliance and planning for our clients, ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations while providing strategic tax advice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting and a comprehensive understanding of various tax structures including C-Corp, S-Corp, and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the review and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns for various entities including C-Corps, S-Corps, and partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and laws, keeping up to date with any changes in tax legislation that may affect clients.
• Provide strategic tax planning and advice to clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings and efficient tax structuring.
• Review and analyze tax returns prepared by junior staff, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Tax preparation when needed
• Develop and implement tax compliance policies and procedures to ensure best practices are followed within the firm.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper tax treatment of transactions and activities.
• Train and mentor junior tax staff, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
