In this position... As a Engine Components Buyer, you will be responsible for critical components such as Composite Cam Covers, Intake Manifolds, Foam Components, Oil Pans, Engine Covers, Sealing Components, Plastics, Metal Components, etc. across various programs. Your expertise will drive strategic direction, sourcing execution, and productivity initiatives (Total Value Management - TVM), ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality plastic & foam parts to Ford Engine and Transmission Plants. This role demands a proactive approach to supplier relationship management and a keen eye for market trends, working collaboratively with Product Development (PD), Supplier Technical Assistance (STA), and Material Planning & Logistics (MP&L) to achieve aggressive Year-over-Year (YoY) cost, quality, and on-time delivery (OTD) targets.
