Logistics Manager – North America

Location : Greensboro, NC or Danville, VA (onsite)

Client, a global leader in luxury packaging and merchandising, is looking for a hands-on Logistics Manager to lead its North America transportation and logistics operations. This role is all about strategy, execution, and making sure inventory moves efficiently across the globe.

What You’ll Do :

• Lead a team of 4 direct reports, including remote staff, driving both tactical and strategic logistics initiatives.
• Oversee all transportation modes, with a focus on international ocean and air freight; domestic freight (LTL, FTL, parcel) is part of the mix.
• Collaborate closely with European logistics managers and North America transportation teams to ensure smooth global operations.
• Work with internal partners (Account Management, Finance, Purchasing) and external partners (freight forwarders, distribution warehouses) to optimize logistics performance.
• Use metrics and KPIs to identify efficiencies and implement cost-saving strategies.
• Reshape and build your team, fostering growth, learning, and continuous improvement.
• Navigate ERP systems to streamline processes (NetSuite or Oracle exposure preferred).
