Job Summary
Join our Food and Beverage team as a Night Operations General Manager at SPMR, the premier PNW ski area in the Cascades. This GM position will oversee evening operations across multiple locations for Food & Beverage and assist with overall night operations. This position is responsible for restaurant oversight and will ensure all F&B standards are upheld while providing an extraordinary dining experience. The General Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations, employee management and financial performance of the restaurant. Responsible for the guest satisfaction, upholding standards, and financial performance of the food and beverage operation.

Operations
Ensure a high-quality guest service experience by maintaining a high standard for overall appearance and cleanlinessLeads with a safety-first mindset, fostering a culture of accountability and care for both food safety, and employee & guest safety.Open and close assigned location including accurate cash handling procedures and completion of necessary daily financial paperworkFollow all environmental health guidelines, food safety best practices and Vail Resorts safety standardsMaintain adequate inventory levels of all products according to business levels through accurate orderingParticipating in monthly inventory countsOperate restaurants at proper staffing levels to budget based on changing guest volumeEnsure restaurants and employees have the necessary tools and equipment to effectively do their jobsEnsure that operations fully support initiatives with corporate strategic partners by giving outstanding representation to their productBudgeting, Finance, and Inventory Control
Pro-actively manage location's financial performance by monitoring financial reporting, participating in the annual budget review process and monthly financial reviewsDevelop, implement, and manage controls for labor, cost of sales and operational expenses to attain budgeted and forecasted contribution targets while maintaining high-quality standardsParticipate in forecasting and budgeting by reviewing, analyzing and explaining variances in profit & loss statementsManage labor to company forecasts and goalsPerform billing and payroll, in a timely and accurate manner, including calculation of gratuity distributionRoutinely check product sales mix and work with the culinary team to create unique offerings within our budgeted COS targetsConsistently complete operational audits to ensure the location is operating to standardsManage a P&L of $2.1M across different outlets and stationsLeadership and Training
