Overview :

Industry leading transportation company is looking for a Chief Electronics Hardware Design Engineer for their team based in Fort Worth, TX, or Erie, PA!

To note : this is an on-site role and does require the candidate to be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder (permanent resident) without future sponsorship. However, relocation will be provided to the candidate if not from the area!

Responsibilities :

• Design and Development : Lead the development of complex electromechanical assemblies, integrating mechanical and electronic hardware, software, firmware, and FPGA logics.
• Design Critique : Quickly understand, critique, and suggest value-added improvements to other engineers\' designs.
• Create or Update electronic schematics and begin the PCB layout design using specialized software
• Executive level technical position, responsible for the direction and oversight of all electronic hardware product designs.
• Provide strategic direction for the organization in their area of expertise and support business proposal efforts, as appropriate.
• Ensure the success of the Electronic Hardware and Firmware team by participating in all phases of the design process, from requirements through final design qualification and production launch.
• Mentor and guide the team through the design process.
• Review and approve product design details.
