Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with at least 3 years of recent mammography experience and current ARRT, BLS, and CRT certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an acute care imaging setting performing mammography procedures
  • Position requires duties in both the main imaging department and a medical office building imaging / radiology service
  • Clinic hours are from 7am to 6pm
  • 10-hour day shifts with coverage required on weekends
  • Epic EMR is used for charting
  • Primary responsibilities include all duties of a staff radiologic technologist under the supervision of a radiologist
  • Position may require at least one weekend day of coverage per week
  • A minimum 12-week assignment is required, with an option to renew

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of recent experience as a mammography technologist
  • Completion of a JRCERT-approved Radiologic Technologist program with at least an Associate’s Degree or equivalent
  • Current ARRT, BLS, and CRT certification for general radiography
  • Current CPR certificate required
  • Current mammography certification in California and through ARRT preferred
  • Active work experience in the mammography setting required, not just licensure
  • License required if applicable
