Raytheon has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Specialist, Contracts role in the Javelin JV programs residing within the Precision Fires & Maneuvers Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU) within Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS). This position will be responsible for supporting proposals, negotiations, contract execution, and customer interface for the Javelin Engineering Services portfolio. This portfolio includes Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Cost-Plus Fixed Fee Type contracts, ultimately supporting all phases of product life cycle. The selected candidate will be a member of a 6 person Contracts team led by the Raytheon Associate Director, Contracts for the Javelin Joint Venture portfolio of programs.
This portfolio is currently primarily comprised of U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and Foreign Military Sale (FMS) contracting with opportunities for further growth. The position will be well suited for a highly motivated, well-organized person who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment with a key outside partner. Success in this position is defined as being a business partner with the assigned teams. Enablers for success include being able to effectively multitask; familiar with DoD contracting; and demonstrate good communication skills to be able to interface with all levels of internal and external customers.
This role will be co-located with the Javelin team working onsite in Tucson, AZ. Some travel may be required dependent on office location.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
