Strategic Growth Associate I

The Strategic Growth Associate I is responsible for assisting in identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the overall growth and profitability of a specific business unit. This person will help develop marketing strategies and propose short- and long-range business plans as well as acts as liaison with government agencies and offices. Partners with external businesses to coordinate the development of strategic relationships. This role requires a strong understanding of market trends, industry dynamics, and the competitive landscape.

Responsibilities include :

  • Assisting in identifying and evaluating new business opportunities and potential markets.
  • Helping to develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company goals.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Preparing and delivering presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Conducting market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Conducting client and competitor market research and analysis.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
  • Developing and disseminating information on a continuous basis to all pertinent parties concerning the fulfillment of project goals and objectives.
  • Working closely with subject matter experts to achieve goals and develop strategic partnerships.
  • Validating progress toward and accomplishment of goals against specified objectives and success metrics.
  • Communicating solutions and business plans to clients and potential clients with a clear understanding of the intended audiences for the solution.
  • Reducing technical details of complex market dynamics and competitors into consumable and actionable intelligence for executive and senior levels.
  • Monitoring government funding reports and procurement forecasts on an ongoing basis to identify potential opportunities.
  • Tracking and reporting on business development activities, including pipeline management and revenue forecasts.
  • Networking and supporting industry / client interaction to keep up-to-date on trends and cycles affecting new business development.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of business development, sales, or a related field; preferably on government contracts.

  • Compensation Ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience. The compensation displayed for this role is a general guideline based on these factors and is unique to each role. Monetary compensation is one component of ASM's overall compensation and benefits package for employees.
