ERM Change Manager
Capital One's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Team has responsibility for helping the overall organization identify, manage, and mitigate key risks that may keep the company from achieving its strategic objectives. ERM is currently seeking a Change Manager who will be responsible for supporting the implementation of projects for a diverse set of initiatives, with a broad range of complexity and scale.
As a ERM Change Manager, you will be a part of a talented team who brings the ERM strategic initiative strategy to life across the risk management community. Specifically, this role will support the change management activities for the ERM strategic initiative, Future of Assessments. This role will effectively drive change management efforts by applying their expertise, organization, and influencing skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of strong change management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work in a dynamic environment. In addition, very strong communication and partnership skills are essential for engaging with key stakeholders to manage, inform, and influence outcomes.

- Working closely with leadership to build out, manage, and execute strategic, creative campaigns through editorial and graphic content

- Building relationships within technology, communications, and change communities of practice
- Traditional marketing channels, communications tactics, change management practices, and social media
- Leveraging measurement plans and data to formulate and flex change strategies and campaigns
Responsibilities include :
Build and execute strategic change management plans including executive-level communications (written & verbal), associate experiences, etc.Write, proofread, and edit communications needed to support strategic plansEffectively leverage a suite of communication channels - like email, Slack, newsletters, Pulse pages, etcWork effectively in cross-functional teams to advance the team and leadership's change strategy and implement a range of creative solutions to reach key target audiencesDevelopment of initial training materials to support change initiatives; monitoring ongoingSupport monitoring of Testing Plans, Change Management Plans and execution of the Product Warranty period to ensure seamless transition to BAUThe Successful Candidate Will Have :
Experience developing and executing successful change strategies including executive-level leader communications support, associate experiences, etc.Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to present complex, subject matter in a clear, concise, and compelling mannerExpertise in relationship building with proven ability to work effectively with multiple constituents, including peers, executive leaders, and senior managementSelf-motivated with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritizeStrong presentation skills and engaging professional presenceEasily adapts to change and takes on a growth mindset approachBasic Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree or military experienceAt least 5 years of experience in corporate communications, multi-channel marketing, internal business communications, or leading organizational change and communication projectsAt least 5 years of experience in planning, execution, and analysis of communication programsPreferred Qualifications :
Master's in Marketing or Communications or Business Administration9+ years of experience in one or more of the following : corporate communications, internal business communications, or leading large-scale organizational change and communication projects4+ years of experience working with a technology-oriented company2+ years of experience working in an environment that leverages Agile principles to organize and drive workPrior experience in financial servicesChange management certifications such as PROSCI or CCMPStrong collaboration, interpersonal and coaching skillsStrong judgment, influence, leadership, and integrityAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Richmond, VA : $132,800 - $151,600 for Manager, Project Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and / or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
