- Deliver nursing care in the Critical Care units, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients\n
- Communicate with various health care team members, patients, and their families\n
- Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues\n
- Update and manage patient records\n
- Enter and interpret computerized data / information\n
- Follow guidelines and policies established by BMC's nursing organization\n
- Assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects\n\nJob Requirements\n
- Critical Care experience preferred\n
- 1+ years of RN experience preferred\n
- Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.\n
- Certification in basic life support (BLS)\n
- Advanced Cardiac Life support (ACLS) certification required in certain units\n
- Nursing degree : Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred), Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years\n
- Relevant clinical experience and / or specialty, certification required for certain practice areas\n
- Effective verbal and written communication skills\n
- Physical ability to meet job responsibilities\n
- Basic computer proficiency\n
