Registered Nurse, Critical Care (All Locations)

Position : Registered Nurse\n\nLocation : Boston Medical Center - Boston, Brockton & Brighton\n\nSchedule : Hiring for All Shifts\n\nPosition Summary\n\nAs an RN in Critical Care, you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional care. • Deliver nursing care in the Critical Care units, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients\n
• Communicate with various health care team members, patients, and their families\n
• Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues\n
• Update and manage patient records\n
• Enter and interpret computerized data / information\n
• Follow guidelines and policies established by BMC's nursing organization\n
• Assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects\n\nJob Requirements\n
• Critical Care experience preferred\n
• 1+ years of RN experience preferred\n
• Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.\n
• Certification in basic life support (BLS)\n
• Advanced Cardiac Life support (ACLS) certification required in certain units\n
• Nursing degree : Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred), Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years\n
• Relevant clinical experience and / or specialty, certification required for certain practice areas\n
• Effective verbal and written communication skills\n
• Physical ability to meet job responsibilities\n
• Basic computer proficiency\n
