Shift Details : Days, 1st shift
Weekend Requirement : Every third weekend

Responsibilities :
Provide safe and comprehensive care to patients throughout their recovery journey.Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their needs are met.Administer medications as ordered and monitor patient conditions, providing interventions when necessary.Foster a team-oriented environment that encourages patient success and recovery.Assist in creating safe discharge plans, including aftercare when appropriate.Delegate tasks and supervise support staff effectively.Perform additional duties as required to support patient care and team objectives.All nurses at Middlesex Health enjoy professional development opportunities, a clinical ladder for advancement, and a shared governance model that supports the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Minimum Qualifications :
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in good standing in Connecticut, or the ability to obtain.Knowledge and skills necessary to assess health needs and provide safe, compassionate nursing care.Preferred Qualifications :
One year of acute care nursing experience.Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN / ASN) with enrollment in a BSN program.Experience with substance abuse treatment.Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system.If you are ready to make a difference in the lives of patients and gain support in your professional development, apply now!
