Registered Nurse - Emergency Services

Location: Everett, WA
Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (0.5 to 1.0 FTE, 20-40 hours/week)
Hiring Bonus: Up to $10,000 for eligible candidates

Overview

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is actively recruiting a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse - Emergency Services to join a respected healthcare partner in Everett, WA. In this critical role, you will be at the forefront of emergency medical care, using your expertise and judgment to deliver high-quality, life-saving interventions to patients in urgent need.

This position offers a flexible schedule (part-time to full-time) and an exceptional $10,000 hiring bonus for eligible candidates, along with access to one of the most robust benefits packages in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver rapid and accurate assessment and treatment of patients presenting with acute and urgent conditions.
  • Monitor patient condition and coordinate care in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Administer medications and IV therapies safely in a high-acuity setting.
  • Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and families during crises.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient confidentiality standards.
  • Participate in continuing education, quality improvement initiatives, and emergency preparedness drills.
Required Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current Washington RN license
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - AHA
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - AHA
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience (preferably in acute or emergency settings)
Preferred Qualifications
  • National Certification in Emergency Nursing (e.g., CEN) or another relevant specialty certification upon hire
