The PMHNP will provide comprehensive mental health care to patients, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders. Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications as appropriate.
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulations.
- Participate in community outreach and mental health awareness programs.
Skills :

Requirements : Qualifications :
Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health.Current certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).Valid state nursing license and prescriptive authority.Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in community health or FQHC environments.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Commitment to providing culturally competent care to diverse populations.
