Job Responsibilities :
- Customer Experience : Greet and assist customers with product and service inquiries, ensuring timely resolution of their concerns to create a positive experience.
- Implement customer service best practices and foster relationships with repeat customers by anticipating needs and offering relevant services.
- Promote healthcare initiatives by engaging in patient consultations, medication management, and community outreach to elevate the pharmacy’s role from transactional to relational.
- Operations : Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, interactions, and over-the-counter options, ensuring proper understanding and usage.
- Perform various initiatives as a pharmacist, including drug therapy reviews and medication management to guarantee accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain regulatory standards and assist in streamlining pharmacy procedures to ensure effective workflow and operations.
- Oversee pharmacy opening, closing, and shift responsibilities while adhering to Good Faith Dispensing policies.
- Stay updated on pharmacy technology and propose enhancements to improve productivity.
- Ensure smooth processing of insurance claims and effective communication with medical providers to clarify prescriptions and patient care needs.
- Deliver clinical and wellness services such as immunizations and preventive healthcare solutions.
- Collaborate with pharmacy management to analyze performance metrics and strive for continuous improvement in financial and customer service aspects.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with local healthcare professionals to enhance pharmacy service delivery.
- People & Performance Management : Support the Pharmacy Manager in hiring and training new staff, offering guidance and performance feedback to ensure team excellence.
- Encourage teamwork by developing shared goals and recognizing achievements among team members.
- Training & Personal Development : Keep abreast of pharmacy advancements and best practices, pursuing further education and required certifications to enhance professional capabilities.
- Utilize mentorship opportunities with management to grow professionally and contribute to team well-being.
