Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Medical Tech to join our team and lead the IMS office. This position has primary responsibility for directing the IMS department along with patient health and wellness, while providing leadership and oversight of wellness services . The position works directly with the Administrator, Program Director, Medical Director and nursing along with all team members to enusre clients are safe, well taken care of and that each Kipu chart reflects accurate documentation within the overall structure of The Encino Detox Center.

Responsibilities

Assists clients and promotes health and wellness by leading, coaching and assisting in providing exceptional care and treatment to all clients.

Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and recovery-centric support to clients.

Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes against patient care goals along with company, DHCS and TJC standards.

Resolves patient concerns and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.

Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Protects clients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols; medication administration and storage procedures; and controlled substance regulations.

Documents patient care services by charting in patient EMR system timely.

Key Responsibilities :

• Observe the self-administration of prescribed medications and input physician orders into EMR, following and assisting in established protocols.
• Monitor clients for side effects, adverse reactions, and the overall health status of clients.
• Collaborate with medical staff, therapists, and other team members to create and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Educate clients about their medications, including proper usage, potential side effects, and the importance of adherence
