COMPENSATION :
SUMMARY :
The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating accurate suspect defect reporting on the operation of NYCT's Track Geometry and Ultrasonic Rail Flaw Testing of all mainline tracks. The candidate will be responsible for the scheduling, coverage, and accurate testing of all mainline tracks in accordance with the direction from the Senior Director of Automated Track Inspections. The candidate will be responsible for performing detailed, accurate and complete analysis of track geometry defects and monthly reporting for the Automated Track Geometry group. The candidate will prepare detailed reports of the conditions found as well as recommend corrective action of the defects positively identified in the field or with the TGC video inspections. The incumbent will be responsible for the maintenance and update of track geometry and Ultrasonic Rail Flaw defect databases and the overall quality control of track geometry and Ultrasonic Rail Flaw Testing reporting.
