The Land & Air Defense Systems Strategic Business Unit Team has a great opportunity for an experienced Acquisition Professional in a highly collaborative individual contributor role where you will have the opportunity to lead in the sourcing and acquisition of materials and services, manage supplier performance and the entire purchase order life cycle (requirements including supplier development, requirement solicitations, Purchase Order award, post-award management, and closeout activities) for DoD, FMS, and DCS customers within the procurement team. You will manage several supplier relationships necessary to support various programs for the factory material needs.

What You Will Do

Preparation and issuance of RFP's Place purchase orders of medium complexity in accordance with all regulatory and corporate compliance requirements for various complex subcontract Support negotiation strategies and Support formal negotiations Nurture professional business relationships with first tier subcontractors. Work closely with the Program and other functional groups to achieve objectives Maintain PO's to ensure accurate and timely supplier delivery information.

Qualifications You Must Have

A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience. Experience in procurement, supply chain management, management, finance, or similar role. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program / contract.

Qualifications We Prefer

SAP / PRISM based environment experience Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware and service including Statement of Work (SOW) review Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR / DFARS) Experience in written contractual authorization / vehicles (Cost Plus, Firm Fixed Price etc.)

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills.
