Senior Program Manager

The Space Missions and Sensing (SMS) Sector of the Sensors Division is seeking a Senior Program Manager to join our growing team in the Boston area. Candidate will support multiple programs focused on space-based sensing applications. Candidate will serve as the primary program manager and / or part of a larger program management team depending on the size and complexity of the effort. Strong technical, interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills are desired along with a deep understanding of common program management tools and products.

What you will do :

• Management of program schedule and budget
• Establish and maintain Microsoft Project IMSs and integrate schedules from subcontractors
• Work in partnership with program principal investigators on planning, execution, and delivery of program capability
• Identification of risks and development of mitigation plans. Monitor progress against goals and initiate corrective actions as appropriate
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations and drive continuous improvements
• Effectively execute multiple programs to ensure cost, schedule, and technical program metrics are being tracked and are within plan
• Provide support in proposal development
• Create subcontractor statements of work and manage / track subcontractors to ensure proper execution
• Ability to connect across synergistic programs to realize execution efficiencies and to help shape STR strategy
