Description We are looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Strategist to lead marketing initiatives for an established business in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In this role, you will take ownership of social media strategy, content creation, and community engagement, while collaborating with various teams to ensure consistent and impactful brand representation. This is a long-term contract position, offering an excellent opportunity to drive growth and innovation in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok to enhance brand visibility.

Create captivating and community-focused content, including posts, videos, and photography, that resonates with the target audience.

Plan and maintain a detailed marketing calendar for events and the launch of a new venue.

Utilize tools like Salesforce Marketing Cloud and AI-driven solutions to streamline and automate marketing efforts.

Manage marketing campaigns for the new venue, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

Capture live event moments and transform them into engaging content to boost audience interaction.

Work closely with teams to establish and monitor campaign budgets and analyze performance metrics.

Ensure brand consistency and adherence to guidelines across all communication channels.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to bring creative ideas to life and maximize campaign impact.

Requirements Proven experience in developing and executing social media strategies.

Strong skills in creating high-quality content, including photography, video editing, and copywriting.

Proficiency in tools such as WordPress (Divi), Canva, and paid advertising platforms.

Ability to design and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns effectively.

Excellent organizational and communication abilities to coordinate with various stakeholders.

High-energy and charismatic personality, comfortable being featured in content.

Familiarity with marketing automation tools and event promotion strategies.

Knowledge of DNS, Microsoft Windows, company website management, and learning management systems.
