Location : Mclean, VA - Onsite Role

Type : Full Time

Job Description :

Must Have Technical / Functional Skills

  • 14+ Years' experience within an agency or product design business
  • Experience managing teams and coaching others
  • Experience inspiring leadership members
  • Experience in senior stakeholder management and growth of client accounts
  • Expert in Adobe CS products, Figma and Sketch
  • Experience managing design teams in agile environments
  • Experience managing a design team that is split across different locations
  • Experience in designing great banking and finance products and services

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage an important client engagement and undertaking senior stakeholder management
  • Develop the creative execution across the entire team, ensuring the outputs meet the high standards of the studio
  • Oversee multiple projects and work streams
  • Work with clients to explore new opportunities and projects
  • Contribute to external initiatives and promotion of the agency
  • Inspire the rest of the studio through their initiative and best practices
  • Work onsite in Mclean with the customer
  • Managing, mentoring and line managing the team, making sure regular 1-2-1's

    • Generic Managerial Skills, If any

    Design Directors are responsible for the leadership of one to multiple engagements within the studio. You will be guiding and influencing the journey of the project from start to finish, whilst delegating to your teams, complimenting the skillsets of who you have on your projects. You will champion best practice by working closely with the design team to create work that conceptualizes ideas into reality, possessing exceptional interactive design skills and a thorough understanding of emerging technologies
