TIG Welder Fabricator

• Direct Hire - Albany, NY Area
• 2nd Shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform TIG welding (GTAW) on various metals including stainless steel, aluminum, copper, and specialty alloys.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and weld symbols.

• Set up welding equipment and ensure proper adjustments based on materials and job specifications.

• Work with machinists, fabricators, and quality teams to meet production goals.

Qualifications:

• TIG welding experience required; certifications a plus (AWS or equivalent).

• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

• Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication setting preferred.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a production environment.
