Job Description

Teledyne ETM, located in Newark, CA is seeking a Controller to be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing the financial health and strategy of the organization. This role provides strategic direction, ensures financial compliance, and leads budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts. The controller will work closely with other senior leaders to support business growth and operational efficiency and supervises a three-person finance team. Teledyne ETM employs over 100 people and has an annual revenue of $75 million with plans for future growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with General Manager to drive profitable growth, strong cash flow generation.
• Drive key initiatives in cost control / reduction, working capital / inventory reductions, process and ERP system improvements.
• Ensure effective internal control structure and procedures are in place to meet SOX404 requirements.
• Lead timely month-end closing
• Annual business planning, monthly forecasting and capital budgeting.
• Responsible for preparing reports and analysis of business trends, expenditures against budgets, inventory changes, product cost and progress on Margin Improvement initiatives.
• Manage and mentor a three-person team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
