Mechanical / Utilities Engineer

Overview

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is seeking a full-time mechanical / utilities engineer. Responsibilities include conducting job-site surveys of food and beverage plants and utility systems; developing project documentation including drawings, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID's), equipment schedules, details, specifications, and scope of work; selecting and applying system equipment to new and existing systems; and coordinating technical specifications, delivery requirements, and quotation parameters with outside equipment suppliers, subcontractors, and clients. Frequent travel (30-40%) will be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct job-site surveys of food and beverage plants and utility systems
• Develop project documentation including drawings, P&ID's, equipment schedules, details, specifications, and scope of work
• Select and apply system equipment to new and existing systems
• Coordinate technical specifications, delivery requirements, and quotation parameters with outside equipment suppliers, subcontractors, and clients
