Electro-Mechanical Systems Design Engineer

TECHFORGE Solutions, a TECHFORGE company, is looking for an experienced Electro-Mechanical Systems Design Engineer to join our team in the Dayton, OH office.

The Electro-Mechanical Engineer will work on the design, development, testing, and optimization of integrated electro-mechanical systems, focusing on the design of circuitry and integration of low SWaP power systems into small form factors.

Secret Clearance required. Ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop electro-mechanical systems that integrate electrical components with mechanical systems.
• Build prototypes of electro-mechanical systems and conduct thorough testing to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance.
• Identify areas for improvement and optimize designs based on test results.
• Work closely with electrical engineers and mechanical engineers to ensure smooth integration of electrical and mechanical components.
• Provide support for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that arise during the manufacturing or testing phase.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical system failures and implement effective solutions.
• Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, specifications, and user manuals.
• Create reports to communicate findings and design progress to management and clients.
