Our brand new, 15-bed, mental health facility is located in Orangevale, CA. Our inpatient facility serves voluntary clients who receive specialized and personal care from our staff. Positions available :

Duties and Responsibilities : The Security Guard maintains a safe and secure environment for residents and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. The security guard will patrol the grounds every fifteen minutes, checking doors and windows, and checking empty rooms and bushes. They will escort unwanted guests from the premises and make a report. They will encourage a client from leaving the facility grounds, if the client insists on leaving, the security guard will notify medical staff immediately. The security guard will ensure the tidiness of the grounds, picking up any debris and garbage. The primary function of the security guard position is to observe and report and assist when needed with clients.

Essential Functions :

• Inspect and patrol premises regularly
• Monitor property entrances
• Authorize entrance of people and vehicles
• Report any suspicious behaviors and happenings
• Secure all exits, doors, and windows
• Monitor surveillance cameras when available
• Respond to alarms and react in a timely manner
• Aid people in need
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity
• Submit reports of every suspicious action

Requirements :

Hourly - $19- $26.50 The posted pay range is a reasonable estimate that the organization believes in good faith it may pay for this particular job based on the circumstances at the time of posting. This pay range is not a promise of a particular wage. Pay may consider several factors including but not limited to internal equity, experience, specialty, training, hours / shifts worked, business need, and education. Pay ranges may be adjusted in the future depending upon many factors including business needs.
