Director of Finance

Job Description

HERITA USA is seeking a Director of Finance in its headquarters in Miami, Florida. The Director of Finance reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is part of the leadership team.

Position Summary

The Finance Director is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring the company's financial health, and supporting strategic decision-making. This role provides leadership in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, compliance, and risk management. The Finance Director partners with senior management to drive business performance, maintain fiscal integrity, and support long-term growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesALL\tLead and oversee all aspects of the company's financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

\tDevelop and implement financial strategies to support organizational goals and growth objectives.

\tProvide accurate and timely financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.

\tEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations, tax filings, and reporting requirements.

\tManage cash flow, working capital, and investments to maintain financial stability.

\tLead the annual budgeting process and provide regular variance analysis.

\tOversee audits and ensure proper internal controls and risk management.

\tDevelop financial policies, systems, and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.

\tProvide financial leadership to the executive team, board of directors, and stakeholders.

\tManage and mentor finance and accounting staff, fostering professional growth and a high-performance culture.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of similar experience in a wine / liquor or luxury company and preferably a master degree.

Experience with SAP conversion or ERP integration a plus.
