Responsibilities
Participate in structured training programs and mentorship opportunities to build industry knowledge
Shadow experienced agents to learn proven sales processes and client engagement strategies
Assist in generating leads and prospecting new clients through networking, referrals, and agency resources
Learn to conduct client needs assessments and recommend appropriate insurance solutions
Gain experience in presenting policy options and handling client objections under supervision
Contribute to achieving team sales goals while working toward individual production targets
Maintain accurate client records and documentation in compliance with agency standards
Engage in ongoing learning to stay current with products, industry trends, and compliance requirements
Work collaboratively with the agency team to build a foundation for future Farmers opportunities
Requirements
Active Property & Casualty license and Life & Health license (or willingness to obtain)
Background in sales, customer service, or related fields preferred; insurance experience not required
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and team members
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn the business from the ground up
Ability to follow structured training programs and apply new knowledge in real-world situations
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
Willingness to take direction, seek mentorship, and grow into a leadership role
Basic computer proficiency, including CRM systems and lead tracking tools
