Position : Turret Operator (1 / 2Shift)

Location : Ontario NY

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Turret Operator to join our 1 / 2shift production this role you will operate a turret punch press machine to cut shape and prepare metal components according to machine settings and engineering blueprints. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up operate and monitor turret punch press machines
• Load secure and align sheet metal or plates on the machine table
• Adjust machine settings based on work instructions charts and blueprints
• Operate the machine to punch holes and mark layouts as required
• Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality standards
• Maintain a clean safe and organized work area
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required protective equipment
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Prior experience operating machinery or working in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints charts and work instructions
• Strong basic math skills (addition subtraction multiplication division)
• Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team setting
• Ability to lift 2550 lbs regularly (up to 100 lbs with assistance)
• Commitment to following safety guidelines and procedures

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand bend twist and lift throughout the shift
• Frequent use of hands tools and production machinery
• Handling of metal materials such as sheet metal aluminum and stainless steel
• Work performed in high-noise areas requiring hearing and eye protection

Work Schedule

• 1 / 2 Shift position
• Overtime may be required depending on production demands
