What You’ll Do

The Tooling Windchill Librarian is responsible for the effective management, organization, and integrity of engineering data and documentation within the PTC Windchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system. This role is crucial for supporting the Tooling & Machine Design organization by ensuring that engineers, and other stakeholders have access to accurate, controlled, and up-to-date product information, including Computer Aided Design (CAD) models, drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), specifications, and other technical documents. The Windchill Librarian will also support users, manage data lifecycles, and contribute to the continuous improvement of PLM processes. Key responsibilities include the management of engineering data, particularly CAD models and associated documentation, standard parts and associated CAD models, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all data entered into Windchill, and implementing and enforcing data quality standards.
