ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Petoskey, Michigan.

Opportunity : RN - Med Surg

Job Details :

  • Work on Level 2 North, a 28-bed Medical Surgical Unit
  • Serve diverse patient population including general and vascular surgery, bariatric surgery, plastic surgery, trauma, and stroke patients
  • Work every other weekend schedule
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • 2+ years of nursing experience required
  • Travel experience highly preferred
  • Must maintain strict attendance policy - 3 strikes for absences or being more than 20 minutes late results in immediate termination
  • Required certifications : BLS (AHA)
  • Michigan nursing license required with LARA and Nursys verification
  • Skills checklist completed within one year of application required
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to develop individualized patient care plans
  • Work in fast-paced, challenging environment with excellent learning opportunities
  • Focus on patient-centered care, safety, and quality outcomes
  • Use clinical pathways, patient education, and interactive communication
  • Participate in Unit Based Council (Shared Governance) promoting teamwork and positivity
  • Demonstrate clinical expertise, leadership, effective communication, and productivity
