Description :

The unit has a total of 36 beds with a staff of 32.

Day shift consists of 1 Charge Nurse, 6 Nurses (RN / LPN mix), and 3 Techs, along with 1 Secretary.

Night shift consists of 1 Charge Nurse, 6 Nurses (RN / LPN mix), and 3 Techs.

The patient ratio is 6 to 1.

Equipment used includes EKG Machines, DynaMaps, Bladder Scanners, Vein Finders, and telemetry.

Experience with Meditech is required.

Candidates should possess strong time management and critical thinking skills.

Typical procedures performed on the unit include heart catheterizations.

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be friendly, and willing to help.

Floating may occur to all Med Surg Tele floors.

The dress code requires scrubs in a Ceil Blue color.

Weekend shifts consist of every other weekend or 2 full weekends per month.

Position is being filled as a contractor replacement.
