Connecticut Nursing Job Details Location : Bristol, CT (06010) – Connecticut nursing jobs Setting : Home Health and Hospice Employment Type : Travel Nursing Start Date : November 24, 2025 End Date : February 23, 2026 Duration : 13-week contract Shift : 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 8 : 00am–4 : 30pm Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Self-Scheduling : Yes (M-F), weekend call rotation every 4th weekend Orientation : 1 week with preceptor Average Patient Visits : 5–6 per day Travel Radius : Within a 20-minute radius in urban Bristol Estimated Weekly Salary : $1980–$2120 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Connecticut RN license (licensed and fingerprinted in CT required) Minimum 1 year of home care or hospice nursing experience BLS certification Valid driver's license and auto insurance Reliable vehicle for travel between patient homes Preferred : Experience with Oasis charting and Meditech home care EMR Homecare RN Responsibilities Deliver compassionate hospice and home health nursing care to adult and geriatric patients Perform patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, and manage medications Care for patients with diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, post-surgical, orthopedic (total joints), CVA, dementia, and hospice needs Collaborate with Home Health / Hospice Aides and interdisciplinary healthcare team Utilize Oasis for documentation and care planning Participate in weekend call rotation (every 4th weekend), respond to calls within 20 minutes, and visit within 30 minutes as needed Maintain a professional appearance (any color scrubs, clean and professional) Apply now to join our dedicated Connecticut healthcare team and make a difference as a Homecare Registered Nurse in Bristol!
