Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Management Tools

Join Red Hat Engineering as a Senior Software Engineer on our Hybrid Cloud Management (HCM) Engineering Productivity team. This role offers a unique chance to contribute to Red Hat's hybrid cloud vision by developing tools, frameworks, and automation that empower HCM engineers to deliver solutions more efficiently and reliably.

The HCM Engineering Productivity team creates and maintains a comprehensive suite of developer experience and infrastructure tools utilized across HCM. Our focus is on enhancing continuous integration systems, developing ephemeral testing environments, and providing AI-driven developer assistance. As an essential member of this team, you will design and implement software that optimizes how our engineers build, test, and release cloud-native applications on OpenShift. Collaboration will be key as you work with engineers across multiple HCM services to identify challenges, standardize workflows, and deliver innovative solutions that boost productivity and reliability across Red Hat's hybrid cloud ecosystem.

Your Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and maintain developer productivity tools and platforms to streamline the software delivery lifecycle for HCM teams.
• Create APIs, automation, and CI / CD pipelines to accelerate development and testing workflows across diverse services.
• Collaborate with SREs, developers, and quality engineers to enhance observability, build reliability, and deployment efficiency.
• Partner with other Engineering Productivity teams to foster best practices in build, test, and release automation.
• Contribute to shared infrastructure services, including ephemeral environments, resource modeling APIs, and developer onboarding automation.
• Measure and monitor the performance of tools in production to ensure high availability and low latency.
