One of Alabama's most respected GC's is seeking a Project Superintendent. Work on 100,000 square foot (and larger) projects across the southeast.

Our client is a medium-sized organization specializing in providing high-quality services within the Construction industry. Known for their personable approach and management style, this GC has remained a leader with regards to employee retention and overall satisfaction across the board. With four offices and 70+ employees, this company is committed to providing best-in-class projects for their healthy number of repeat clients, and are constantly bidding new work. Their market specialty is Tilt-wall Industrial warehouses, distribution centers, cold-storage facilities, and occasionally large Commercial / Healthcare work. 90% of these projects are located in the Southeast U.S. such as MS, AL, TN, GA, FL, and the Carolinas.

Job Description

Traveling Superintendent Duties :

• Develop the Project Vision and Create the Project Schedule
• Supervise entire construction staff, ensuring project deadlines are met
• Ability to predict and overcome project challenges
• Maintain a strong relationship with Project Managers
• Lead weekly meetings to ensure the team is working together successfully and delivering quality work
• Maintain OSHA requirements
• Mentor less experienced construction professionals
• Track project documentation, tasks, issues, etc.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors
• Travel required
