Title : Print Finisher

Location : Salt Lake City, UT

Duration : 6 Months

Shift : 3 : 30 pm to 12 : 00 am

Job Summary :

  • The Print Finisher is responsible for safely and efficiently operating machines to ensure the highest quality printed materials are completed for the customers.

  • The Print Finisher is responsible for safely and efficiently operating machines to ensure the highest quality printed materials are completed for the customers.

    • Job Essentials :

  • Effectively performs machine operations converting post-press product into finished product by following job ticket instructions.
  • Accurately sets up machines to meet specific customer requirements.
  • Responsible for ensuring that machines are operating efficiently while producing product that conforms to quality standards.
  • Performs and documents quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications.
  • Inspects equipment for defects and performs maintenance duties as necessary.
  • Maintains a clean and organized workspace.
  • Safely and efficiently performs all essential job functions in accordance with company policies and operating procedures.
  • Participates in department meetings, training, and continuous improvement events.
  • Serves as an example of what our company values most : innovation, respect, integrity, creativity and collaboration.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Carrying / lifting, hearing / listening, communicating, manual dexterity, seeing.

    • Required Skills & Experience :

  • Basic math skills and understanding of metric and standard measurements / conversions.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of following standard work instructions.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adopt new technologies in a fast-paced environment.
  • Operate safely and efficiently while producing high quality work.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively with a team.

    • Preferred Skills & Experience :

  • One year of machine operator experience.
  • Experience working in a print shop.
  • Able to demonstrate proficiency with MS Office tools, demonstrating the ability to send and receive emails, find, open, and save documents and files, and perform data entry.

    • Required Education :

  • High school diploma or GED required.
