We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team and help shape the future of our growing company.

The Senior Accountant plays a key role in ensuring the financial integrity of SYSTM Foods and its family of brands. This role leads month-end close activities, prepares and analyzes financial statements, and collaborates cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, and FP&A.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. You’ll have the opportunity to own accounting processes, drive continuous improvement, and provide insights that support strategic decisions and company growth.

What You’ll Do

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger across multiple entities.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, providing insights on performance, variances, and trends.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including cash, inventory, fixed assets, and intercompany balances.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and FP&A to analyze costs, inventory movements, and production variances.
• Contribute to budgets, forecasts, and financial metric tracking.
• Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, ensuring strong internal controls.
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting systems, workflows, and controls (NetSuite experience a plus).
• Prepare audit and tax schedules and assist with external audits.
• Mentor and review work of junior accounting team members.
