This position will be located in either Norwalk, CT, Itasca, IL or Edina, MN. Incumbent will work in the office 5 days a week.
Position Overview
The Data Management Lead will collaborate with Business Team and Data Technology to gather and document requirements, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and support PowerBI reporting and analytics. This role is essential for ensuring that data solutions meet business needs and maintain high standards of data quality and integrity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Lead discussions with Business stakeholders to understand business reporting objectives, gather requirements for data needs, and translate them into comprehensive business and functional specifications
- Work closely with the Data Technology team to translate business and technical requirements into actionable data projects.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all data initiatives to ensure data solutions meet specified requirements and quality standards.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of PowerBI reports and dashboards to support business analytics and decision-making.
- Support data governance initiatives by ensuring data management practices align with organizational policies and standards.
- Maintain documentation of data management processes and procedures.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data management and analytics.
Key Performance Indicators :
UAT and reporting roll-out of PRISM Phases 2-4.Success / failure at meeting PRISM timelines, completion of assigned sprint tasks, and completion of UAT tasks with Business Teams.Number of reporting projects assigned, success / failure and number of recurring reporting and data issues.
Responsibility and Decision-Making Authority :
Support the Operational Governance and Business teams with ongoing review and reporting on data for the MHCA portfolio.Management / Supervisory Responsibilities :

Minimum 6-8 years of experience in financial services.Bachelor’s Degree required.Experience with data governance, data quality, data analysis, data lineage processes.Strong technical and analytical skills with a focus on fixing data issues at the source.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to lead effective meetings.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proven track record of project prioritization, execution, and data management.Highly motivated, self-starter with a clear accountability & ownership mindset and ability to challenge assumptions.Sound judgment and ability to escalate project risks and issues.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and other MS Office Tools. Familiarity with Azure Databricks, PowerBI and SQL programming is preferred.Experience with data governance and data quality tools (e.g. Collibra, Informatica).Working Hours :
Hours may vary and require overtime work depending on business needs.Tools and Equipment Used :

Some travel to client meetings and conferences on an as needed basis.Physical Demands :

The position is exempt and the salary will be between $127,600.00 and $145,000.00 with an opportunity to earn (a discretionary annual bonus).
The salary range is determined and based on internal equity, market data / ranges, applicant's skills, prior relevant experience and education.
