Pediatric Dental Assistant – Mountain Lakes, NJ – Green Tree Pediatric Dentistry

We’re a brand-new pediatric dental practice in Mountain Lakes, NJ, and we’re excited to welcome a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our growing team. Our practice is small and family-oriented, with a strong focus on creating a positive experience for every child who walks through our doors. You’ll be working directly alongside our doctor and administrative coordinator in a modern, supportive environment where teamwork and compassion are valued every day.

Schedule

  • Monday–Thursday : 9 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM
  • Saturday : 9 : 00 AM – 2 : 00 PM

Pay & Benefits

  • $25–$30 / hour, based on experience

    • Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide chairside assistance for pediatric dental procedures
  • Take digital dental X-rays (NJ X-ray certification required)
  • Sterilize and prepare instruments and operatories
  • Help manage inventory and supplies
  • Offer gentle, reassuring support to children and families
  • Communicate clearly and warmly with parents regarding treatment and aftercare

    • Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience, pediatric preferred
  • Active NJ dental X-ray license
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Compassionate, friendly demeanor and a genuine interest in working with kids
